The cloud is a vast network of powerful servers that offer services to businesses and individuals, while the Internet of Things (IoT) is a system of interconnected computing devices, machines, and objects that can transfer data over a network without human intervention. The IoT has grown as more data is generated, and the Internet of Things Cloud Service allows for increased communication between inexpensive sensors in the IoT, resulting in greater connectivity. With billions of connected devices and machines expected to join human users, IoT generates a large amount of data that can be facilitated by cloud computing. In this article, we examine cloud providers who offer a pay-as-you-go model, where customers pay only for the resources they use. Additionally, cloud hosting as a service can provide economies of scale that reduce the overall cost structure of IoT startups, adding value to their business.
