Blockchain technology is expected to be a significant emerging technology in the information technology industry in the coming years. It is a decentralized, tamper-resistant, traceable, and trustworthy distributed database system that operates on multiple nodes. Apart from its use in electronic money and cryptocurrencies, it is utilized in various sectors, such as hospitals, insurance money, Internet of Things, manufacturing and education, with the potential for greater functionality and resilience. While there are official announcements and news about its objectives, partnerships, development, and implemen- tation, there are also concerns about blockchain security issues, challenges, and global policies. This review paper focuses on examining ten research papers that discuss the concept of the blockchain ecosystem, blockchain partitioning, implementation, and security issues related to blockchain. This paper will be a valuable resource for researchers interested in blockchain and security-related issues.
